We’re prepared for the new ice storms rolling in, so I managed to get to the cabin today with much less stress. Just having the preparation under control is giving me more peace of mind, which turned into more focus.

And I think it shows with my warmup page today. I’m really happy with the results of this practice page.

But I struggled a bit with my gestures.

Unlike most Mondays, we were snowed in today, so I got more cabin time in. I focused on finishing the edits for Episode 2 of The euCreativ Show and then went back to my art practice.

I decided to dust off this drawing that I haven’t touched in a couple of months. I’m actually pleased with the progress after a long break. A fresh perspective is always nice.

Oh, and the sleet is rolling in quickly! Time to prepare for another ice storm in Kentucky.

What went well?

  • A nice, toasty cabin
  • Extra time to work on creative projects today.

What needs work?

  • Figuring out a good financial plan for my future. It’s weighing on my mind a little bit as storms and COVID are destroying my ability to earn a living.

What did I learn?

There will never be a life without stress. I just need to figure out how to manage it a little better.
