My creative time today (after the weekly Creators meeting) was invested in a student at Affinity. I discussed and taught the most basic visual measuring techniques — measuring width and height with a pencil and thumb.

It was difficult to do. Some common errors kept popping up, mostly involving keeping a stationary position and taking the smaller measurements first. Repetition and skill, though. Repetition and skill.

I also forgot to take a photo of the practice sheet we worked on together, but it was an interesting challenge.
