Today was an “off” day for me. I didn’t go to the tattoo studio today (which is normal for Thursdays), but I woke up ready to tackle creative tasks!
So I did my warmup page before 6 a.m.

And promptly lost track of what I was doing for the rest of my morning. Kids.
I worked quite a lot on CreateQuest — and broke the site. Which prompted me to set up a staging environment from now on. Because that’s the smart thing to do.
And I worked on a client design (mostly combining photo references and making edits to them for a photorealism tattoo)

Tomorrow I’ll get the stencil prepped and apply it to the skin! At least the first session of it.
What was awesome?
Getting an early start.
Meeting with Chris re: CreateQuest.
What needs work?
I felt more unfocused today than I was yesterday.
I broke CreateQuest for an hour. Not good.
What did I learn?
Use staging environments. They exist for a reason. Don’t update anything until it has been tested on a development platform.
And don’t forget to check out CreateQuest – a project that I’m working on with Chris Beaven. It’s our mission to bring creatives together in an empowering community with a focus on improving the world, not just changing it.
