I actually managed to get some sleep last night and wake up refreshed today. And what a productive day it has been! I recorded and edited video, handled an INSANE amount of admin work for Affinity, met with other creators for a regular Tuesday meeting, then got to drawing. My warmup went much better today than it has in a while:

Then I did a quick lettering design for tomorrow’s appointment:

And then I started piecing together another design for a photorealism tattoo that I’ll be tackling on Friday:

It seems like I’m going to be doing a lot of these types of tattoos, now.

What was awesome?

I’m loving the CQ overhaul. It’s beautiful, simple, and usable.

I got the rest I needed to really show up as my best today. Or pretty damned good, anyway.

What needs work?

I’d like to release more flash to slowly steer more and more clients toward the things that I love to tattoo.

I need to find out a good way to delegate a lot of the administrative “stuff” for my businesses.

What did I learn?

I operate at my best when I get enough sleep. It’s awesome.

And don’t forget to check out CreateQuest – a project that I’m working on with Chris Beaven. It’s our mission to bring creatives together in an empowering community with a focus on improving the world, not just changing it.
