Harper (the newest Johnson baby) kept me and my wife up all night last night, so today was a rough one.

I managed to get this dragon drawn up right in time:

And then began tattooing it (after finishing up the FRONT of the skull that I started:

I’m actually disappointed in the progress on this one. It was a puzzle to figure out how to do it, but I think I managed to get a plan in place, at the very least. Surround it with black, fill it with light and dark blues. It’s going to take some time to work out ALL of the details, but my client was happy with the idea.

What was awesome?

What needs work?

I’m SOOO tired. And I didn’t make nearly as much progress on today’s tattoo as I wanted to make.

What did I learn?

Sometimes you just have to power through and catch up on recovery later. Today was one of those days.
