Today was a day mostly full of house work and lawn work for me. I’m glad I managed to get that done today, as it’s supposed to rain every day for the next 9 days according to the forecast.

I was also very low on energy, so after doing my weekly review this morning I decided to take a nap — this is the only day of the week where I get that opportunity, so I seize it.

By the end of the day, I was still dead tired, so I stuck to my minimum and did a long sketch of a hand for about 15 minutes. Hands are something that always challenge me, so I figured I’d see if I could make any progress on a difficult subject while I was tired. All-in-all, I’m not dissatisfied with the outcome:

What was awesome?

Catching up on a few of the things around the house.

Not breaking the chain.

Challenging myself when I’m really, really tired.

What needs work?

My energy levels. They’re a bit shot.

What did I learn?

I feel better about myself when I tackle something outside of my comfort zone — especially when I know that I’m pushing myself while exhausted. It feels like I’m building up more resilience that way. Not sure why.
