I had another one of those rare, smooth mornings! I like smooth mornings. A good meditation, workout, breakfast, shower, study. Like clockwork. I haven’t been getting many of those lately, but today started off just right.

I took my time on my warmup today and I’m incredibly pleased with the quality of the exercises.

Then I spent about an hour and a half finding references and sketching for this design. I’m excited, to say the least.

Finally, I did a HUGE tattoo to top off the day. It took a bit longer than I’d planned, but I’m happy with where it ended up.

What went well?

  • Doing research and sketching.
  • TONS of art time today.
  • Executing a large-scale tattoo.

What needs work?

  • I wish I’d done the tattoo about 15% larger than I did, so the dodecahedron would have filled her shoulder cap just a bit more.

What did I learn?

Today I learned a lot about endurance! LoL I’m sore, but the results were worth the process.
