This has been an insane week for me, looking back at it. Normally I have a good bit of control over my mornings and nights, at the very least, but this week has been one urgent thing right after the other.
BUT, I managed to squeeze some drawing time in every day, even when it was difficult to do. I don’t want to falsely proclaim anything about the upcoming week, but it LOOKS as if it MIGHT be a little less hectic for me. We shall see how that goes.

A quick warm-up page to start my day off.

And my daily gestures. I wanted more drawing time today, but the hectic weekend requires some hectic cleaning to avoid a more hectic week ahead.
Tomorrow I’m going to HAVE to spend more time on art to prepare for my upcoming appointments. I’d like to get ALL of my drawing done for clients by tomorrow evening, but I don’t foresee that happening.
What went well?
- I squeezed some drawing time in.
- I managed to spend time in the cabin today. The only way I can really focus.
- I really enjoyed doing gestures today.
What needs work?
- More time to draw. I just have to shuffle things around until I find a way to do it.
What did I learn?
Failure to plan is a plan to fail. I need to spend more time planning out my masterpiece days and weeks so I’m not flying by the seat of my pants anymore.
