Sundays are my day to spend with family. I play with the kids, avoid screens, and spend time with my wife. But I made a commitment to hit a “floor” of at least a warm-up page every day for the rest of forever, so I came to the cabin to deliver.
Today’s warm-up page. Nice and easy. I’m happy with my improving dexterity right now. My super-imposed lines…well…they work. 🙂
And a few gestures. I wanted to be more economical with my lines today, so I simplified my strokes. Going back to the exercises from FORCE.
Technically, this is over-delivering! LoL I’ll go color with my son later today, I’m sure.
What went well?
- Spending time with my family.
- Making time to draw.
What needs work?
- Streamlining my process to be more efficient on Sundays (and every day).
- I need more sleep. I didn’t do so well last night.
What did I learn?
Committing to something EVERY day is easier than committing to something 6/7 days of the week. I can still make time for my family if I have a low “floor.”
