Today was a little bit “different” for me. I woke up to go get a massage to handle some of the back pain I’ve been experiencing, then scheduled a chiropractor’s appointment immediately after that.

For the first time in MONTHS, my back actually feels pretty good. Still tight, but better than it has been.

Then it was time to work on the studio and taxes. Yay numbers!

By the time I made it to the cabin in the late afternoon, my brain wasn’t cooperating very well. So I did my warmup and called it a day for art. Not ideal, but I’m keeping the chain going.

What went well?

  • Finally getting my back pain under control.
  • Not breaking the chain.

What needs work?

  • Managing my back pain before it gets completely out of hand.

What did I learn?

It’s time to buy a new office chair for my cabing and artist chair for the studio. I need more back support than I have been giving myself, especially since most of my “work” involves sitting.

I may invest in a sit/stand lift for my desk, too. If I can stay off my ass a little more, it might help!
