Mis-Takes Were Made – #109

After a late tattoo on Saturday, I decided to stay up incredibly late with my wife. We ignored the chime to go to bed, and just stayed up hanging out.

And it destroyed my energy today. I still managed to get my warmup page in at the end of the day (using graph paper and one of my son’s pencils), and I spent the rest of the day with my family, doing reviews, and running errands with zero motivation.

What went well?

  • Not breaking the chain

What needs work?

  • Honoring my fundamental needs — especially sleep.

What did I learn?

Sometimes the cost is higher than the payoff. Don’t ignore things that I need to function.
